I started at Ace Hardware as paint and sundries specialist after taking courses at the glidden school of paint and moved up to a buyer for ace hardware.
I went into real estate when interest rates jump to 16percent, did that for 3 years and had to be very creative about financing
in order to sell houses. Like houses so much in 1991 i decided to start my own roofing company and did over 300 houses in Co. and in Nebraska.
I did an apprenticeship with a plumber, hvac and electrician and decided to try electrical. My electrical boss put me thru
an accelerated 4 yr. program so i finished in 2.5 years and then got my journeymen license. I ran big and small jobs, including Albertsons, banks, Cat care society, Lowrey campus and strip malls
I went to work for Roberts Home Repair and did everything for him. Plumbing, electrical, roofing, fencing and a whole lot more. I had been doing a lot of repairs on the side, part time for over 17 years. So I decided to do all of it for myself and that i could save people on money.
I managed a 429 unit apt complex and did maintenance when I was younger and later contracted to do the maintenance
at a motel for 3 years.
